This page shows the comparison in quality between images available from City2see with those available on Google Earth.

The imagery on our system is at a spatial resolution of between 7.5 to 25cm whereas the imagery available from Google Earth, with a few exceptions in very selected locations (mostly outside Australia), has at best a spatial resolution of 60cm. The age is also unknown as can be shown below in the comparison of images. The Copyright year shown on the Google Earth images is not the year of the imagery.

Click on each image below to see a sample of the full resolution of the digital image that is available from each site.

It should also be noted that you do not require a broadband connection to see City2See images and that you are able to purchase a range of printing and lamination services such as A3 and A4 prints, that use even higher resolution digital information.

All City2see images are able to be seen and ordered without the need to purchase any additional upgrade or special software - all you need is an Internet connection.
