Advanced Functions

Property Boundaries
Where available you can add or remove property boundaries to your image by clicking the “Add Property Boundaries“ button. The fit of the these boundaries to the images that you see depends on the accuracy of the boundaries supplied by the appropraite land information authorities.

Crosshairs You can add or remove the centring cross hairs by clicking on the “Add Crosshairs” button.

The crosshairs show you the exact centre of the image selected. If you have entered the viewer from the Search function, the crosshairs will be positioned on the address for which the search was conducted.

The crosshairs will not be visible on your High Resolution version.

Brightness
You can adjust the brightness of the image using the brightness tool.

Some areas will appear naturally brighter than others. This is because aerial photography on this scale takes many days to complete, and light conditions vary at different times of the day.

The City2See system automatically adjusts and enhances the image where possible, however you can manually adjust the brightness of your image by clicking on the circular icons in the brightness tool to the right of the Viewer Window.

The highlighted dot indicates the current brightness level.

To make the image brighter, click on one of the dots above the highlighted dot.

To make the image darker, click on one of the dots below the highlighted dot.

These settings will be saved when you order a High Resolution version.

Send to a Friend
You can send an email to a friend or colleague with a link directing them to the site you are viewing.

First, click on the "Send Me to a Friend" button.

You will be taken to a new window where you can enter your friend’s email address and a short personal message.

Your friend will receive an email with a link in it. This will direct them to the exact site you were viewing at the time of sending. Note there is maximum number of images that you can send to friends.
