BRISBANE AND DARWIN HIGH REOLUTION 2009 AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY

With the release today by Earthinsite.com Pty Ltd of the 2009 high resolution digital colour aerial photography of the Brisbane urban area on its web site, www.city2see.com.

Users can search a particular address, select from a list of significant features, browse suburbs and neighbourhoods all with a simple click of a mouse. Property boundaries can also be overlain onto the images. Searching and viewing browse images from the database is free with high resolution digital and printed images, including high quality laminated and framed products available from $15.90.

The coverage of Brisbane extends from Pine River in the north to Browns Plains in the south and along the southern coastline to Waterloo Bay. To the west the photography goes out as far as Pine Mountain. With the addition of this new coverage City2see now provides 4 separate periods of Brisbane photography, 2001, 2005, 2007 and now 2009. This lets you see the pace of development in this vibrant city.

Other cities launched today include Darwin in the Northern Territory. This photography, flown in May 2009, has a spatial resolution of 10cm and covers all of the Shoal Bay Peninsular from and including downtown Darwin City and east to Howard Springs and south to Virginia Bees Creek and Middle Arm.

With this new coverage City2see now provides 2 separate years of Darwin photography available online, 2007 and now 2009 thus enabling you to see the vast changes in our fastest growing city.

These new coverages join the other high resolution coverages of Melbourne, Newcastle, Central Coast, Canberra, Gold Coast and the Upper Hunter Valley.

Earthinsite have also developed a unique system by which users can choose to download a version of each image that is ready for direct import into many of the drawing and design software packages available on the market today. This can be done at no extra charge and is ideally suited for architects, engineers, environmentalists, town planners, designers, draftsman and other businesses in the property market who wish to overlay other vital information.
