Melbourne 2009 Aerial Photography Now Available
Finally after delays caused by a number of technical difficulties we are pleased to announce, in conjunction with Sinclair Knight Merz Pty Ltd, that new 2009 high resolution colour aerial photography of Melbourne is now available online on our web site, www.city2see.com.
The new photography, flown over a number of different times from Jan to May 2009, has a spatial resolution of 10cm over the entire urban area. City2see now has 2009 high resolution photography of 4 of Australia's cities, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Darwin. Arguably the best non-military city-wide aerial photography available on-line anywhere in Australia. Click on the image above to see the quality of a Standard product available from this amazing photography. Higher resolution on-line products and prints are of course also available.
The Melbourne 2009 coverage has been extended over the 2006 coverage and now covers the expanding outer urban areas of the city. In addition this new photography has been extended to cover the entire Mornington Peninsula (See article below).
With the addition of this new coverage City2see now provides 3 separate periods of Melbourne photography, 2001/3, 2006 and now 2009. This lets you see the pace of growth in our second biggest city.
